Why Cycling?
It is no secret that California is facing one of its most serious droughts in recorded history. Our team at the G3Foundation believe that increased and continued promotion of water resource awareness is key to attaining a future of sustainable water management.
Cycling is immensely popular in Southern California, and one of the most sustainable sports and forms of transportation. We here at the Foundation believe cycling goes hand-in-hand with charity work and have teamed up with this sport to raise money and awareness for water resources projects.
Racing Team
The G3Foundation is registered with USAcycling.org as a racing team. You are welcome to join the team, sign up, and race. We ask you to follow proper etiquette and share our goals and story, but above all, stay safe but put up a good effort and support our alliances as best as possible.
Our team partners with TREK bicycles and Jax Bicycle Center, who have provided support and equipment at reduced rates in certain situations. Please check-in for any opportunities.
Our G3Foundation Racing Team has had very successful results with the help of Trek bicycles and Jax Bicycles. Some of the highlights include State and National Championships in disciplines of Road, Mountain Biking and Track cycling. These included wins from Richard Meeker, Michelle Seidal, Michele Nelson-Busby, David Lee, Paul Hutcherson, Michael Walker, Joaquin Blanco, Mark Palmer, Steven Strickler, Joseph Dalton, Harrison Hale and Hudson Hale.
The G3Foundation Clothing and Cycling Club
Your $300, tax-deductible donation to the G3Foundation will be recognized with complimentary membership to the G3Foundation Cycling Club and inclusion in all our Foundation project updates! As of early 2020 we have reached close to 100 active members, which combined with our corporate sponsors resulted in donations to multiple water projects throughout the world.
G3Foundation Clothing
If you are not interested in racing, club riding is a great way to check-in with our team and be social with fellow cyclists and water enthusiasts. By purchasing our G3Foundation clothing, a portion of sales will be used directly to support our water projects.
